Sorry we missed you, Glenn.

As to the rates, a dollar here, a dollar there. I got the AAA
discount. Never even thought about the AARP (at 50, I
don't get a lot of comfort from thinking of myself as an
"RP" ). And I've just come to accept that most rates
for most things in Las Vegas are "fluc'ed up" most of the
time. I have a feeling that it's against the law in that town
to use the words "good" and "value" in the same
sentence. I even had a parking guy at the Sands Expo
Center try to charge me $24 for an $8 parking space. He
mentioned something about "for something that big". And
he was dealing with a lot that wasn't even full. So not only
did he not get the $24 he thought he could, he didn't even
get the $8. And with spaces to spare.

The only thing I would recommend to someone who hasn't
been to Circusland would be to get to there from I-15,
Sahara Ave. exit and the frontage road. It's just a little too
inconvenient to go into the Circus-Circus complex from
the Strip. Gotta wind around amongst impatient taxi
drivers and shuttle buses. But it is kinda cool tooling down
the Strip in a classis motorhome. That's where you get the
most looks - old dudes giving the nod, and young
dudes looking like, "Wut da hayll izzat? 'Zat won-them-
ayre GM thangs?" So, sparkle up those big windows and
cruise the Strip. At night, the refections from the casino
lights make you a self-contained light show.

Rock on!

Later!
