Netters---Has anyone found a good source for re-chroming the OEM GMC
bumpers? Both Jim Bounds and Zeb Frady advise me that it is getting
very hard to get the bumpers re-chromed satisfactorily these days.
Apparently, there are fewer and fewer shops that do this kind of work
and the quality seems to have dropped off.

Darren,
Polished SS would be great. Are you thinking about fabricating some?

In the works. Should be ready by the fall convention. I should have
pictures by june or july. I am supposed to have one done for Steven
Galovic III by the spring rally, but I am not sure I am going to make it
by the deadline. Darren

Similar, but different enough to easily recognize. The original grill, in my
opinion, is counter productive for good air flow. The dips in the grill
actually push air away as much as they let air through at speed. I am going for
a smoother look but am trying to maintain the basic look. Darren

Darren,
This is good news. How similar in shape (curves, witdth, etc.) will you be
able to get to the OEM look? Or are you going for new look entirely?

Darren,
I'm sorry, but I thought your were talking about SS bumpers! My fault

I already thought of that and would integrate it into the design. Be careful
though this could get expensive. Darren
