check lists- memory tricks

Gene,
As a pilot I always use a check list. I have a question about yours.
What's a "Propane Injector"?

Gene,
Gee I never heard of anything like that. It does make sense.
This is sort of the opposite of water injection (my neighbor has had
it in his GMC since 1980 and swears by it)?

I better not tell him about this or he will run out and install a
propane injection system to use in conjunction with his water
injection . I wonder what that would do?

Ah- Gene --

Me thinks you have forgotten two -you're forgetting number 6 and 7 --the
roof TV aerial and your power cord.

I once drove away from from a camp site and as I was driving along we
remarmed how friendly everyone was in that place, they all kept waving
to us. We dicsovered a little later our aerial was still up from the
night before. Another time I tried to drive away while still hooked up
to 110 power, Those are good learning experiences!!!!

This reminds me of some sage advice my brother received from his
now-deceased grandfather-in-law; he said that anytime you are going to fly
in an airplane, you should carry an extension cord with you. If the plane is
in danger of crashing, jump out with the cord---it will hang on something.

He also said that anytime you are going hiking in unfamiliar wilderness to
carry a deck of cards. If you get lost, stop and begin playing
solitaire---someone will come along to help you.
