has anyone changed the 455 automatic choke to an electical one? I have my
old one torn apartl and it is rusted thru at the manifold. Guess I could
bend up a new one, but thought it might be better to change it to electric now.

I had some carb work done at The Carb Shop and they put on an electric
choke. Works great. They should be an easy install. If you have
any questions I can take a look at mikne and give you some info.
Scott Woodward would probably be able to give you some good info.

Thomas:

I assume you are talking about the heat pick-up tube that bolts to the
intake manifold.

Cinnabar has new ones for not much money.

Replaced mine at time carburetor was overhauled..
