Just a quick note to thank everybody who posted suggestions re: ceiling
fans and emergency brake. I've ordered a Fantastic Fan from CW, and will
have my friend install it (kneeling on plywood, drilling 1/4" holes at the
corners and making sure the screws aren't to long). Not yet sure what to do
about the brake, but will certainly try setting it while holding the pedal
down.
By the way, those parking blocks Chuck Will told you about are actually
step braces. I ordered them from Camping World for about $12 each. I only
use them when "SR JAMES" will be parked for at lease a couple weeks 'cause
I have a slow (4 or 5 day) leak-down on one side. It seems more reasonable
to block up the bogies than pay somebody more $$ to find and fix the leak.
Keep the info flowing. I rely on your posts to avoid unnecessary expense
when problems develope (keep snips on a disk for my laptop when traveling).
