I passed several GMC's on my recent whirwind tour and it would've been nice
to say hi.

I usually monitor the Truckers channel of the area and try it for the
xxxxxbound GMC and also CH13 as I belive that's the channel Good Sam
recommends as an RV monitor channel.

On occasion I even stay on CH13 but have never heard any traffic on it.

I'm wondering... do few GMCers have CB's?
Is there a secret GMC Channel that I'm not aware of :-) ?
Am I the only yacky one?

Hoping that I'm not the only one with a CB and that there is no secrect
exclusive communications channel and that all GMCers really do like to say
hi on the road perhaps there should be a GMC channnel?

Not a monitoring channel, just a common channel to flip to, say hi and chat
a bit as the rigs pass through the opposing landscapes.

If such a channel exists already it needs more advertising, if not...
perhaps we should designate one?

Just my 2cents worth towards continued fun in/with the GMC.

Hi Heinz,

When we travel, we are currently driving 2 vehicles. One of us
drives the GMC and the other follows in the van. We use the CB to
communicate between us and we usually use channel 13. In all of
our travels, we have never heard any motorhome'rs on channel 13.
Usually it's just us, which is fine because we don't have to compete
for a break or listen to someone's filthy mouth. If we're voting, we
would vote for channel 13!
