Jim Bounds just gave me the news! The new Caspro engine is in! He said it
was shipped in a REALLY COOL, BIG plastic container... but looks like I'll
need a dog house. Good thing I sent Darren a message on this yesterday.
Figured that was gonna be the case with a new aluminum intake manifold. I'll
keep you informed as things progress. Maybe Jim can do a few snaphots for us
(eh, Jim?)... This is getting good (as Arch would say).

Just in case you need some more doghouse input...
I ended up rasing the center area of the original hatch with a fibreglass
molding. This leaves the "step" area at original level.

I lined the underside with the stuff from Colorado... sorry but braindead as
to name at the moment ;-)

I my case I was using the TV cabinet on the hatch and the fibreglass molding
utilizes the space that was dead anyways in the bottom of the cabinet so
space lost = zero.

If you need additional pics let me know.

OK,
Spread out, nothing to see yet!! Yea, I'll get pics and would love to post
em if I could get this &%#@ scanner to work. Got some great shot prying
Nates coach off the flat bed too!

Maybe someone can tell me the trouble with this scanner. After I got it
back from the computer guys, it locks up when I press aquire after about 4
sec. of the usualy grunting noises. This happened once before and a friend
told me some simple stuff to check which fixed it. You know me, I forgot
what that magic was.

Thoms coach gets his TBI finished tomorrow & his alignment. Nates motor
will happen Monday, I'll let you know if it is a Cherry bomb or a dud.

Just added the pics of the new Caspro Engine Jim did for me
http://www.tconl.com/~chase. Doesn't really do it justice since you can't
see the nicely painted trans at the bottom. I'll have to Simi Chrome and wax
those big Mickey Thompson valve covers now along with my Alcoa's (BG).

PS. Added mouse over descriptions and hyperlink's to all the pics on the
site this AM. Nice touch even if I do say so myself.
