An owner without Internet access has asked if someone can give him leads
on an original carburetor #9 for the 455ci engine.

She has asked specifically for PN 7045 254 as 1st choice
PN 7045 554 as 2nd choice
PN 7043 254 as 3rd choice.

Margaret and John Biwersi can be contacted at:

Maplewood, MN 55109
Sorry, no phone number was given.

Larry,
Why even mess with it? For $218.90 you can have a rebuilt thats guaranteed
and you'd swear it was brand new. This is what appears to be on my Caspro
Engine. Granted, I dunno if the jets are identical but it would be the way
I'd start.

Hope this helps...

4. What might I expect to pay for this work?

Parts to do a fairly good job of a mildly worn carb are worth about
$65-$100, including dashpots and a float.
The labour varies widely, but $200-$300 total isnt too much if they do
wonderful work. Just a carb kit is ~$20.
