Went out for the weekend and almost didn't make it back. Carb looks like it
needs rebuilding. Anybody out there got any good places to get one rebuilt
qiuckly?

Try The Carburetor Shop in you area. Tell them it is for the GMC motrohome.
There are things inside it that are just for the motorhome application. I
usually takes them about 24 hours turn time.

I bought a completely remanufactured one for $234. from my local parts
store. Under the original GM part # and remanufactured by TOMCO.

Dave:

I had my carburetor overhauled in Aug 96 by A & G, Oak Park IL,
708-386-9804. I've been very happy with their work. The carb looked
like a brand new unit when it came back. I didn't even touch the idle
speed and idle mixture adjustments after mounting and have put
approximately 15,000 miles on since, trouble free.
