When I first installed my system, I used a stock air cleaner manually
modified to fit. I wasn't too pleased with the Spectre adapter, nor the
stock Jeep adapters, so I kept looking. I finally found one made by
TorqStorm. The price was right, and it fits perfectly. No spacer needed, no
clearance issues anywhere yet, and it fits under the hatch! It takes a 4"
hose, but that is easily dealt with. I am in the process of swapping out
the Holley TB with a Rochester TB, so more to come.

Eric,
Can yoiu please give us a link to the TorqStorm carb adaptor to a 4” hose? I find one on their site for $175, and one for $300. Perhaps your idea of “price is right” is different than mine? *grin*
Thanks.

I do like that hat, but the inlet is weird, how do you adapt a hose to it?
For $300 you get a blow off valve adapter, which is useless, the elbow adapter is only $50, but there's no straight adapter which is what I'd need

Here you go...

BTW, the$300 choice includes all the silicone hoses to fit their blower system.

After doing some measuring, it appears that a 3 1/2" (89 mm) hose should
go over the snorkel. I saw that the hat came with a 4" clamp, so I
assumed it would take a 4" hose. Ooops. I am thinking that a 3 1/2"
duct, like silicone brake cooling duct, will fit with a little
persuasion. I will source something cheap, like dryer duct, to test for
fit etc. Pegasus Racing stocks lots of hose adapters, tubing, etc.
