I didn't watch the trim shop remove either the front or rear liners so I
can't help you on that end. they did however cover them with auto
headliner foam that matched the interior
and did it deaden the noise from the plastic headliners

FWIW, when I did my front and rear ceiling caps, I used the foam back
automotive headliner material. A year later it all came down. The
automotive supplier said I should have used the high-temp spray glue. I
re-aplied the ceiling material only to find out that the foam backing
used deteriorates with heat. What does Jim Bounds say? Looking at his
dash covering and ceiling cap pictures, he uses something better than
foam backed headliner material.

I will be doing the same thing in a week or so. I have just about
completed my electrical upgrades and will be proceeding to a
new headliner and I will be replacing the tattered drapes with
new day/night shades from Guske.

Arch,

you're not imaging things. There was a report that the visors had to be
moved to a specific position to relieve tension on a spring assembly. I'm
not home so I cna't look it up.

Happy to report your brain cells are normal.

I had my visors down last year.

The visor nuts have normal threads.

They do have springs above the nuts which makes them turn harder so it feels
like the threads have a problem.

Arch I had mine down a short time ago, Repainted,repaired some small
cracks, etc. I posted a question on the net as to how to get the nuts
loose at the sunvisors because I was afraid I would break something.
Was told, just pull harder and maybe rotate visor in direction you are
turning. Worked,spring loaded nut hard to get started but will come,
just don't round off corners. Rest is easy. Get an extra set of hands
to make it easier. Thats about all I know. Certainly improoved
looks in cab.

Arch. Turn the visors to the side window position. This should release the
tension on the spring and make it easier to remove the nut. Darren

Arch Visors were only problem I had. AS for curtain rail, if it comes
down with headliner its easier to deal with outside the coach. If there are
any rivets holding things up they will have to come out. mine didn't have
any. Did notice that due to past remove/install some of the screw holes had
stripped and larger screws were used in some places. Nice to keep track of
which screw, which hole. Don't really think spray would help as spring
tension is culprit. As far as keeping curtain rails, I did as I already had
new curtains installed . They also cover up screw heads and holes. HTH
