C8 Transmission

And still I have no answer :). Can you swap sides with the ring gear or not???

I thought the C8 had a differential in it and the reason to revers was to
put the engine behind the C8 in the hallway rather than have it protrude
past the bumper. If you are going to all that work you might as well put
the corvette engine in there as well. The 8 speeds with the 1st gear very
low and power from the Corvette engine should be enough to move our coach
even if we do not get past 6th gear.

I can see a pushing a trailer-mounted engine with 2 side draft radiators in
front of the coach. That could make our coach into a 4 axel setup to carry
that much weight that far forward, LOL

Alignment up/down with the front wheels might be another problem. Check out how high the output shafts are set on the transaxle as well, vs how low
they are on the th425.
