The PO replaced the bunk bed support straps on our coach with chains, and I would like to go back to the original design. I haven't found any source
for the straps from the usual places, are they available anywhere. I haven't found any guidance on replacing with a seat belt type strap either.

Any good auto upholstery shop can make them for you,but you need a sample
for them to duplicate.maybe someone will take a picture of them and send it
to you.. good luck.

Belt is not the issue, but the steel plater that connect to the ceiling
latch.

What Jim said. You need the belt hook brackets which bolt to the ceiling
framing and hide behind the headliner. Then you can make any belt set up
you want as long as the tang on the end of the belt will mate with the
ceiling hook.
