bunk bed mounting height

I am in the process of installing Jim Penrod's bunk bed, covered with
material that almost matches that on Bob Morris's dinette set (My coach
is sort of a Frankenstein).

I have no idea on how high to mount the bunk brackets. Could someone
measure theirs from the aluminum trim or bottom of the window?

Ron,

>From the TOP edge of the aluminum trim to the BOTTOM edge of the bunk bed
mounting bracket measures 4 3/4" (4.75") on my coach.
Sorry for the late response, I just got the coach out of the storage lot.

Thanks Peter for the measurements. The driveway is scheduled to be paved the
first week in June. We have to sell one of the kids to pay for it. It won't
be Katie because she is making $130 per week babysitting. The little ones
provide no positive cash flow.
