Bumpers

Our coach is FINALLY being painted, after many months of getting mechanical
stuff fixed. Have been asking around for a good place (and not too
expensive) to have our bumpers rechromed. Has anyone out there ever had
their bumpers powder coated? What's the consensus re powder coating versus
rechroming?
Hope everyone had a good holiday season. I'm in the restaurant business
in San Diego, so haven't had a day off since Thanksgiving! Was getting
cranky (according to my husband) so I'm glad the holidays are over. Down
with the Santas and up with the Valentines!

Powder coating should work very well if that is the look you like. We
painted our bumpers to get that same look. The paint (same as we painted
the body with) seems to be holding up very well (much better than we
expected). The powder coating should hold up even better. We only used
paint because we could spray it ourselves for much less money and time than
powder coating would have been.
