Looking for oil leak - found brass tube where oil pressure sender is
connected at front of engine block cracked. In an attempt to remove it
the brass tube cracked off flush with block. Will an easy out be able to
pull this out - not any luck yet.
Any suggestions welcomed ?

Jim;

Had this happen to me on the trip to Marion. Do not drive with out an
oil pressure guage. Mine turned out very expensive. An easy out should
work, but be very carefull about chips. After doing it I would see how
to get in and suck out any chips you got in there with a small tube
attached to a strong vacum. Then turn egine over with plugs out and
develop some Oil Pressure, Change oil and filter and flush oil cooler
lines.

Just MHO, others may know better.

Marcus... did I meet you at a great campground in Key Largo a few years
back. (the occasion was my brother's wedding on the beach... was that
you?)

The brass tube must be part of the oil sender. the block is tapped for a
1/4" pipe thread if I remember correctly. An easy out should be able to
remove it.
