For what it's worth... I'd suggest headers.

Have had Thorley's on for a long time, and many miles. I did have to replace
them after 10 years, but that was primarily due to having them wrapped (per
some bad advice).

Hang on and someone will be able to tell you if the drivers side is
the one interchangable with the Toronado or not. I don't remember;
mainly because I have a 403 and it isn't broken......yet
