Just called Bridgestone's Tech Support line. When I told them I was
comparing the R273 with the R265 for use on a motorhome, the immediate
response was "buy the 265". His opinion was the 265 is the better tire,
hands down. Better resistance to irregular wear and almost no service
problems(trans: few warranty adjustments).

Now to see what it will cost me to swap these 273's.

Seems R265 is not available in 225/75R16 in a 10 ply (E rating), only the
215/85R16.
Don't know if I was given the straight goods... but that's what I ordered
(215's).

How much more confusing can it be made?

Heinz,

Don't take "no" for an answer. They're not shootin' straight here! The
taller tire will probably "squirm" more. Check the Bridgestone Truck
Tire web site (http://www.trucktires.com). There's a table showing
available sizes of tires for each model.
