What is the tow rating for standard GMC Motorhome brakes?

My 23' VIN plate has gross (pounds) of 10,500, Max front of 4,200 and
"Maximum gear end weight at ground 7,000".

It that the brake rating = 17,500 - full loaded vehicle weight?

What's the GMC netters experience who tow say about at what weight that
it's better to go to a towed vehicle active brake system?
