Just installed a dorman one last week in a gmc. Fit perfectly and the casting was NOT too thick.

I had went in and asked for a “centric” as billy recently installed:

But locally was not available and they had the Dorman one in stock.

Either of those will do. Just measure the thickness of the bolt flanges. If the new ones are thicker it will require a longer push rod. If thinner you’ll need a shorter push rod.

You may want to make one of these to measure the required pushrod length:

Emery as you saying they can be cast with the mounting side having move depth to the cylinder? Were not talking the total thickness of the mounting
boss just being thicker meaning the studs in the booster are to short.....

I buy a ton from amazon. I have found them to still be pretty accurate with dates. Especially if you are a prime member, which I am. Good luck!

The trick lately is they want you to buy it then they will email you a delivery date or the delivery date is 6 to 14 business days even if you have
prime.....always seems to be things they may have to bring up from the US warehouse or something. As it is its taking 3 to 5 days to get something
from Toronto to my house (i can drive there in 3.5hrs)

Interesting. We are having very different experiences with them I guess. Maybe they like the West Coasters better :)

I am East Coast, the shipping dates provided when I check out are rarely 2 day anymore, but my packages almost always arrive before the estimated
date.
