In the Nov 94 issue of Consumer Reports, Brake-Guard was as much as
labeled a fraud. They said NHTSA tested and concluded that the device
does not perform as claimed.

I bought Brake Guard at a FMCA rally and installed it. I can't say I did
see any positive effect or negative effect. Alex Sirum convinced me I
didn't need it so I removed it.

It may be a rip off, I can't say for sure, but for the money I would
have
liked to have seen some of improvement.
