I'm looking for more wisdom on removing the brake booster on my coach.

I found one article that references making a cut in the dash plastic to access the bolts and pin.

Thanks for sharing.

My coach is a '76 so the air suspension control switches are in the dash. I took that switch panel out for some access and visibility. I also removed
the cover at the back of the dash so I could reach down from above. I had to use a hole saw on the very bottom of the dash to get access to the bottom
two nuts. It seemed like the bottom of the dash could be pried out away from the firewall but I was afraid to break it somewhere. Long arms and skinny
fingers would help. Good luck.

This is the only pic I could find of what I did when I rebullt my dash. If you could take this pic and enlarge it some with photoshop, you will see
where I cut a square hole in the the dash right below the right AC/heater vent on the drivers side dash panel. I then made a "plug" to friction fit
into the hole. Now when I need to take the power booster out, I simply pull the plug out and using extensions, and swivel sockets, can loosen the
nuts and get my hand in there to finger turn them out. Works good, looks good. JWID

Dolph, I used a 1 1/2" hole saw to make a hole in the lower dash opposite the impossible to reach nut. Unobtrusive but allows a long extension and
socket to access the nut. I can take a photo but it's just a hole.

Kerry,

It would be helpful to put some tape on the dash along with measurements
showing where you located the hole.
