Last July, My Dave Lenzi sensitized hybrid brake booster suddenly failed just as we were leaving on a 400 mile round trip to Silver City, NM. After making a change of plans, and consulting with Dave, we went on the trip with the Towed car (Tracker) and got on with the trip. The next month, Dave sent me a new booster which I had installed and all is well again with the brakes. When Dave received the core, he was going to tell me what happened, but he was really busy at the time, so I checked with him last week and he sent me the following photo:

I was suppose to show you this pic at the convention, but got too busy.
I have never seen a diaphragm tear before. Hopefully never again.

Hopefully this is just a one-off anomaly and I was just un-lucky. I don't think it will happen to anyone else, but I just wanted to explain what had happened, in case any of you were wondering.
