Brake Bleeding with Air Brake Compressor attached to brake proportioning valve (?)

Hi y'all
My ignorance is speaking volumes here , but my 77 Kingsley seems to have a
Ride Rite compressor hooked up to the brake proportioning valve. I assume
this is for some kind of air brake system for towing, though the only Ride
Rite info I can find is for Firestone Air bags. I have the original air bag
compressor in the closet area)
My brakes are soft and I am wondering if replacing the brake fluid and
bleeding the brakes is something I can do on my own, (especially with the
extra compressor hookup) or should I go to a professional ?
Any recommendations for a place near Eau Claire, WI that could do the job
reliably for me ?

Mark,

The compressor somehow attached to the combination valve really can't have anything to do with the coach brakes. It would be interesting to know what
it is for, but that is about as far as this can go.

If the brakes are soft, bleeding might help, but are they really soft or is the peddle low? If the peddle is low, they might just need adjusting. If
nobody has messed up the rear brakes, try backing up and stopping hard a few times. The automatic adjusters should work.

I am curious if the air and brake systems are connected, and if so how and why. A few pics might help us help you sort it.

My brake and air lines all go along that frame under the driver seat and I am conjecturing they just look hooked together.
