Never had a Porsche. Never had a Corvette. Never had a GTO. Never had a
Mustang. Never had a muscle car. Oh wait. I had a 64 Impala SS 10:1 327
4bbl powerglide that had no top end I ever found. I always got a little
scared at 140mph and eased er back down. Had the brakes fail somehow and
the back end locked up big time at 120. Never went faster than that
after that. Never did find out what happened to cause it. Yep I remember
the days when all I had to spend my money on was my car. Now I have
progressed to spending much, much more money on a Motor Home. Still a GM
too. Wonder if this is some kind of trend. Darren
