Skip, If you've been monitoring the traffic on the GMCnet, you've no doubt
seen the threads concerning many of us wanting to use 80mm calipers for more
braking efficiency. As one of the guys pointed out, the 80mm calipers have
a 7" support bolt spacing (vs. 5 1/2" for the standard size piston calipers)
and this is to ask if you folks will consider making available a bracket for
the 80mm caliper?
I'm posting this to the GMCnet to ask others to weigh in with their comments
about and/or requests for the same item. Sufficient demand = additional
sales opportunities for TSM and, unless they've changed the rules for a
successful business in the last day or so, that is the name of the game.
(For those of you who'd like to write TSM, do so at tsmmfg)
There are, of course, other ways for us to go but it would keep it simple if
we could get the machined items needed in one stop and from folks who have
proven to be reliable and attentive in the past.
I'm getting down to placing an order with you myself. I'd love to get the
"right stuff" in a single stop without frogging around with a local machine
shop or doing it in my own shop.
Thanks,
