Gentlemen, Have 75 PB with BOWEN Model EH6G house water heater. Coach has
40K original miles. Heater was drained when unit put up 8-9 years ago.
If you were in my shoes, would you simply pull the front off the unit and
give it an inspection for tank integrity then gamble that it has not
suffered major internal corrosion or pull the whole thing (first taking the
back panel off the lav area to gain access -- major pain) for a more
thorough inspection?

Can one see enough of the tank interior by pulling the electric heating
element to determine the condition of the tank?

You would make my day if you told me that GM went ahead and put a STAINLESS
STEEL tank in this mac daddy RV.

Any suggestions gratefully received.

Gang, Answered my own question. Popped the heating element off and the
inside of the ALUMIMUM (thank GOD!) heater tank is clean as a whistle. One
more thing I WON'T have to do.
