I have a "Genuine GM" fiber-optic scope. It has a very bright light, a
right angle prism, a 1/4" diameter head, and it has a adapter that allows
interfacing with a laptop or other digital devices. It cost a whole bunch
more than $30.00, although the prices have come down in the years since I
bought it. I originally purchased it to do powerhead inspections on big
outboard motors. Saves a whole bunch of labor on loose roller bearing lower
ends.
