We used mini blinds for six years and were never completely happy with
them. Sometimes one would be difficult to close, one would come down when
travelling, etc. We have had five pleated shades in for a year - three are
day\night, the door and rear window are night shades only and curtains were
left on the two rear side windows. They are great to use, stay where they're
put, and give whatever level of privacy you want. I heard pleated shades
will lose their pleats. People who've used them for some years have had no
problems, if when the coach is not in use the blinds are left in the "up"
position. The added installation complication of some sort of an "L"shaped
device on the two large front windows and the galley window to hold the
blinds to the sloped coach sides when down was not as difficult as I
imagined. After the over-head cabinets were down the rest seemed easy!
