NOTE: NEED A BLACK LIST-ORDER NOW--Will be leaving Tuesday and be gone for
week or two. The Black Lister

To Newbies and Lurkers,

We have a GMC list of owners/supporters who are making themselves available
for what ever assistance they can offer to other GMC'ers on the road
traveling. This
list is for those who will offer help to others on a 24 hour basis, rain or
shine. Sorry no help for those in SOB's. Just a GMC. The list is being
maintained on a permanent basis at the link below along with other great
information.

Currently you can view this list at www.henry-davis.com/GMC thanks to Henry
Davis. While there, visit around and enjoy his work.

To sign up for the list, which is not mandatory to anyone, just send an
email to rblack and you will be added to the list and a copy
will then be sent to you for corrections, etc. Please send name, city,
state, country, area of coverage, phone number, and any other pertinent
information such as "facilities and knowledge to do off frame restoration."
We are just trying to have someone with local information to avoid rip-offs
to fellow travelers who have problems. Also, list size of coffee/tea pots.

To obtain a list for your own travels or use, whether on the list or not,
email rblack with "List" as the subject, and one will be sent
ASAP.

Thanks for your support of the "Black List."

Get a new one before Tuesday. Black lister will be leaving town for a
couple of weeks. Otherwise get one from Henry's site.

Richard,
Henry was out of pocket for a while. That's why I started dating the list
so one could tell how up to date it is. He just hasn't gotten around to
updating it yet. If you need a current up to the minute one, I'll send you
a new one.

Sorry for the time lapse, but he's doing it for free.

Roger

Richard,
Henry just hasn't updated yet. Look at the date and if you want a current,
up to the minute, Black List just request one. You obviously joined after
the posted list. You are listed on the master file.

Roger

BTW, I have now listed all states without listings. Also, Canadian
provinces and territories. If you are in one of those blank listed
states/provinces and want to help your fellow GMC'er, then send me your
stuff.

Roger,
Hey no problem. I just was curious. I don't need a list now. I'm only
traveling in Michigan and Ohio, pretty close to home. But if Emery Stowa
comes roaring through my neck of the woods he won't know I'm on the list.
You can beat the price that Henry is charging

Didn't catch that the first time.{:>) He is doing us a great favor with
this and I can't help but thank him over and over again for the "other" help
he gave in setting it up. Great guy, Great site.

It's updated now. Making money to feed the GMC habit got in the way of the
important things ;>

Ten days with the court case of infinite hours... Fried my brain working
18-20 hours per day for 11 days. Almost recovered and another client says
"get on a plane" I don't know if I'm complaining or bragging right now.
We'll see how getting back in town 2 days before our 25th anniversary and
my daughter's senior prom, flying 4 days later to take care of my father
for about a week. Flying home to see my daughter graduate ... all by June
11th.

Not quite - I may need the list one day. So, there's an investment against
future possible problems. Besides, now I can plan my coast-to-coast trips
so that I can see a few of you/.

And last but not least, you do all the hard work.

Help, I need a copy of the black list, like now, and don't remember who
has it on their web site. Any one know? Darren

Darren

I believe it is on Henry Davis' site.

For the latest edition, you can always email rblack with "list"
as the subject. Since Henry is in Europe, I think, his site will not be
updated until he gets back.
