Is there a Birchaven near Montana for sale?

I am currently "looking" at a 1976 Birchaven coach in Oklahoma that has
been stored outside, has 86,000 miles and needs some TLC. It's price is
between NADA "trade-in" and "retail".

Is NADA a reliable price guide?

Have been a long-time admirer of the GMC Motorhomes. I have had access
to
newsletters from GMC International and that has helped.

Registry for several states adjacent to MT and found no 23' for sale. Try
the various GMC MH web sites. Let me know if you need directions on where
they are.

way understates the value of the coaches (IMHO) Those prices reflect only
dealer sales and I'll gurantee you that A/ mosts sales (85%) are private
and B/ I would guess an average price 50-75% above the NADA book. This
happens, I think, cause dealers don't want to have 25 year old RVs on the
lot and if it was traded in they probably don't have any real money in
the coach.

Also look at GMC MH Magazine, Family Motor Coach Magazine, Cinnabar's
newsletter and as mentioned above, the many web sites that carry ads. If
you need help write privately.

Happy hunting.
