For those of you who've been GMCers for a while, MR. GMC is Bill Bramlett
of Loveland, CO. Today being his 94th birthday, I just called him. Would
you believe, he picked up on the second ring and sounds more coherent than
I feel, ten years his junior! He's no longer springing from supine on a
creeper to standing erect, but he's still chugging along! :-)

I won't cover details, but Bobbie's not doing too well, with physical
problems as well as advanced dementia. A nurse granddaughter has taken her
into their home since Bill can no longer meet her needs. Bill himself is
planning to move into his GMC, parked on a SIL's ranch, after their house
sells.

Everyone please keep Bill & Bobbie, and the rest of our elderly GMCers, in
your prayers.

Ken H.

Thanks, Ken. Birthday wishes and prayers of gratitude for the cream of
the crop.

Wonderful to get an update. Bill was my early morning walking partner at
several conventions. Prayers to Bill and Bobbie.

Bill is a VERY talented guy, not to mention a genuinely nice person.

I hope I am still around at his age, much less in as good shape.

Happy Birthday to Bill!

Ken,

I add my thanks to those of others on this forum for your update on Bill and Bobbie.

During my years of running the tech program for GMC Classics, I highly valued Bill's contributions as a presenter on a wide variety of tech topics - and as an audience participant. While Bill is very modest in his demeanor, when Bill spoke, "we all listened!" (ref: EF Hutton brokerage commercial of late 70s/early'80s).

You pegged him right: Bill Bramlett IS Mr. GMC!!

Thank you Ken for the update - even if it is not the best news. Bill is an intelligent Gentleman! Awesome friend willing to share all the GMC knowledge.
