Ty Hardiman turned me on to Maguiers #7 glaze which is basically moisturizer for the paint. Brings back the luster, cleans it, makes it shine. So I'm working on that. Those that have seen it will agree, it's very dull after living most it's life in CA and TX in the sun. The #7 seems to be a miracle.
I was just going to do that and call it good but the bottle says to follow up with their Professional Yellow car wax. The wax is what blocks damage from sun UV I think? So now I'm going to hit it with #7 and wax.
So far I have done the roof, hopefully the streaking I get from my roof paint being oxidized by the sun and washing across the windows will be reduced. The paint has been burned off to the point where it looks streaked with paint and green primer showing through. Seems like you can actually see the individual passes of the paint sprayer when they painted it at the factory.
How often are you waxing your coach?
