Dennis,
I definitely recommend the GMC Motorhome Marketplace magazine. I believe
it has more ads than any other source. That's where I found my 78
Royale, and also several others that I looked at. They will send you one
free issue if you call them at 219-769-7733, or E-Mail
galovic Another source I used was the Cinnabar quarterly
newsletter. (1-800-720-2227) I have seen several GMC's for sale at
Buskirk-Rush RV. (1-800-715-1133) Cinnabar and Buskirk are both located
in Sandusky, Michigan, I don't know from whence you cometh, but Golby
and Alex Sirum are both in Florida and have coaches for sale. Both have
websites you can access from gmcmotorhome.com.
I have to say I enjoyed the "hunt" for my GMC immensely, and the more I
looked, the more "hooked" I became. The best advice I can pass on to you
was given to me by Paul Bartz. Look at and test drive as many coaches as
you possibly can before buying. In no time at all you will recognize the
many and various states of repair ( or dis-repair) that the objects of
our affection can be found in. Also, monitoring this GMCnet that Patrick
has created, and joining the GMCMI will really help you in the
transition from "wannabe" to "newbie".
I'm sorry to pontificate like that, but I just get excited about these
old things.
p.s. You should be warned that GMC stands for "Get More Cash".
Best Regards,
Tim Brown
