A few days after the conclusion of the Tuscon combined rally, I received a
card in the mail. There were signatures and well wishes from many GMCers
whom I have personally met, and others with which I only have had internet
contact, but for several years. Judy and I had planned to make a leisurely
trip to Tuscon, and then a meander back through the Southwest to our home
in Salem.
As the time approach to leave for Arizona, it became apparent that
neither of us were going to be feeling well enough to make the trip. I have
been experiencing mitral valve problems with my heart, and Judy has been
battling a drug interaction that affected her muscles and left her weak and
dizzy. She had a drug reaction between her statin and thryoid medication.
Serious stuff. Knocked her for a loop.
Anyway the purpose of this posting is to give a huge THANK YOU to all
of you that took the time to write brief comments or just sign your names
to the card. It really brings home the point of what makes our GMC
community unique. In some cases, better than family. In other cases,
exactly like family. Thanks, again.

To Jim H & Judy C:
Get well soon - both of you.
Sorry you could not make the Tucson Convention, but understand, as my wife came down w/ Shingles one week B 4 we were to leave.
I went anyway as wanted to advertise my 1st and best GMC MH for sale.
We will look forward to meeting you somewhere down the road!
BTW - you made a big impression on Vern C (Santa), as he has told me many times how much he respects you and your capabilities.
