I almost forgot that my GMC celebrated its 44th birthday yesterday.

Who would have thought back in 1975 that a vehicle manufactured back then would still be in existence today and running well.

This is according to the records that came with my coach.

birthday of TZE166V100710 12/4/1975
VEHICLE FINANCIAL HISTORY SYSTEM

So Sylvio buys the GMC 79/07/27 and then dies 79/12/17 at age 63. A retirement gift to himself?

Richard:

I went by the Krutsch (correct spelling) Building, quite often between 1975 and 1979 and never saw the GMC there that I remember. In the 40's the
building housed the Wyandotte Police Dept. and had two garage bays with tall doors so I would guess your GMC was stored indoors during atleast it's
first 3 years.

Thanks for that interesting bit of trivia about my GMC. I never knew about the actual business location of the first owner. I tried to find it via
Google Earth and the address shows up in the middle of a golf course in Wyandotte. I found the current address of the 2nd owner, in the Gage Cemetery
Fenton Township. The next and third owner was the PO I bought the coach from in 1998. He owned it from 1980 to 1998 almost as long as its been in my
possession.

The building is still there. Google for some reason shows 3800 area when searching that address. Search 3509, that will show the Pine street side
of the building. The garage area is now offices. Work your way around to the opposite (south) side of the building and you will see a door with the
3505 address above it. Apparently Attorney owner wanted his 3509 address on Biddle side of building and other office address as secondary.

I searched the original owners and it appears husband, Raymond T.(Tom) died in 1998 but wife Mary is 83 and lives in Southgate, about a mile from
where Matt holds the SEMNO lunches. Whitepages shows a phone number.

Thanks for doing the research on the first 2 owners of my GMC. That helps to fill in the blanks of its ownership. It took 21 years to find out more
about who owned "the motorhome".
