I installed the Ragusa sliding battery tray which I am quite pleased with and I
think that my satisfaction will continue due to it's rugged and simple design.
I would be concerned about "drawer slides" since they have bearings (the heavy
duty ones which would be required to support the extended loads) which would
soon corrode from the battery acids.

I made my own battery slide out using two heavy duty, stainless glides
with a capacity of 100 lbs for my two golf cart batterys, and a piece of
3/4" marine plywood. I drilled a hole thru the leading edge of the ply
and thru the floor and drop a large linch pin in to keep the tray from
moving while under way.

Total cost was about $20.....Works for me.
