If you jumper the center terminal to the house battery terminal on the
battery isolator it will raise the voltage to the house batteries without
raising the voltage to the motor battery. Don't forget to unhook it after
you get done.

But, given that you boiled the water out of the batteries, you should check
to see if they are already running at too high a voltage. Maybe the voltage
regulator on the alternator is running too high or maybe the power
converter is producing too much voltage. If that is the case the batteries
may be permanently damaged.
