Bathroom dissambly/removal

G'day apocalypse survisors!

Quick question..

If anyones been paying attention, I have been swapping parts from a donor to my project. Coming up soon is the bathroom. I have no plans to remove the
rear end of the spare to get anything out unless absolutely necessary. So my question is; I see a horizontal seam in the bathroom, about waist level,
and wondered if it actually separates there so it can be removed through the door? I can't quite tell without ripping off the walls surrounding it. I
have no problem doing that just wondered if anyone knows for sure it's actually 2 pieces.

I am in the process of replacing all the cabinets and walls in my GMC
and about 2 weeks ago I removed all the walls around the bathroom. I can
tell you that yes, the bathroom will separate at the seam at waist
level, but from what I remember the two halves are riveted together. It
does not look like there is any glue or anything else that would keep
the two halves from separating. I am recalling this from memory, so I
may be wrong.

But I don't think that you will be able to get the bathroom halves out
the door. I think that the door is 28 inches wide which is far less than
the height of either half. As far as I know the only way to get the
bathroom out is to remove the back. That is short of taking a sawsall
and cutting up each half--but I suspect that is counter to your
intention :-)

Wonderful news. Thank you for the quick reply. I have to suspect, with the door opening space on the bathroom piece(s) they can be navigated through
the entrance door...

Perhaps not, but I've done a lot of moving and I think it would make the turn in two pieces!

You might have better luck taking out one of the big sliding windows, just a thought....

I have hear that you need to take the back window out. Considering I
need to change my windshields this summer, can they also fit through a
windshield opening?

I heard the same thing but I assume it was in one piece when they installed it. It just doesn't make sense in a production facility to have them
putting things like that together inside. As an aside, I heard basically everything was installed through the back...

All the internal modules were rolled into the rear hatch before it was put on the back of the coach.

The royale rear side dry shower stall will fit out the entry door but it
has to be oriented just right to clear.
