Hello everyone. Five years ago my coach was invited to leave the storage
lot she was at, and the exiled by the HOA from her temporary home in my
driveway.

https://youtu.be/Tst0W-TgFk4

A new job and a move out of state happened. Five years later, I finally
got a good opportunity to rescue her. It took a lucky combination of
finances and timing, and I happened to have work related travel near where
my coach is stored. She did not want to suck fuel from the fuel cell
located at the rear end of the coach, so a shorter run was made and the
fuel cell was placed on the passenger seat. At first turning the key did
nothing, but vigorous application of a BFH to the starter resulted in the
engine turning over and running like it had been shut off yesterday. Well,
with no small amount of steam out the back. I was able to drive her out of
the storage lot under her own power.

https://youtu.be/MKj98agmHMg

It is a good thing too, because there’s no way the lowboy would’ve been
able to get back there, and even if it had, there’s no way she could have
climbed aboard in that gravel. Dave Friend Transport showed up, and within
an hour, after following their drivers expert directions , I had her
backed up upon the lowboy trailer, and she was secured and on her way to
Florida to GMC Coop for restoration work.

https://youtu.be/anyyqOMuWzc

Tomorrow we drive home. :) it is the end of one chapter and the start of
another.

Hi, Robin. Good to see you back with us! What charge per mile to haul down to Orlando and then back haul empty home?

I need to have mine hauled somewhere to have an engine change and trying to find an estimate of what the hauling will do to my checkbook by itself!

From Jackson MS to Orlando FL Dave Friend Transport is charging me $2100
and in all honesty I feel like it’s not enough. About 700 miles. When I
think about the time and hassle I am saving I am glad to pay it.

3 bux a mile... an excellent price. Assuming you're changing wheels, keep the old ones and pay them forward when somebody needs some.

Robin,

Glad to see you're back. Sure will be good to watch your future adventure movies. I do have one question that I may have missed the answer
somewhere along the line: What happened to Pinto Bean? Anyway, glad to see you back on the forum, "we have kept the light on for you".

Jerry

PS: Did you do a review for a leather phone holster on Amazon, which I then bought?

Pinto Bean was given to the storage yard watchman because (1) he helped me
out gettin the Barn Queen Going (2) I don’t need two of these (3) I don’t
WANT to have to keep up with two of these and (4) my wife indicated that
giving it away was probably the best idea. Choose your battles. :)

And no I don’t recall reviewing a phone holster, that’s odd. :)

Robin,

I think you made the best decision for Pinto Bean. Maybe the watchman will become one of "us". Your YouTube video of the day you got your Royale and
your sister's naming it was very entertaining. Good luck on all of your future adventures with "Barn Queen".

The reviewer for the phone holster signed it as Robin Hood. It could have been another Robin or just someone identifying as an old English legend.
Maybe you will one day become an old GMCMH legend. :)

Welcome back, Robin. I think of you every time I see a Morgan & Morgan ad

When are you going to appear in one? With the GMC?

I passed on that opportunity back in January. :) Maybe someday. :)

Glad you liked them! :)

I had a hearing today in south Florida, and on the way back home stopped in
Orlando to visit Jim Bounds GMC Coop. My wife was with me, and Mrs. Ada
showed her some of the custom cabinets they are working there. We also
talked (in very general terms) about the things that the Barn Queen will
have done. Wife is excited. :) I’m on Page three of the work schedule (I am
a brand spanking new arrival), but at least it’s the TOP of page 3. :)
