town,
they rope off a couple of city blocks and From June thru August (maybe
later)
the rods are parked for people to view, 60's music on loud speakers and
a
great party.
We have a drive in called Porkys on Universty where everyweekend is rod
night, with car hops and burn outs de riguerr.

My first time at Porkey's on University was in 1963. I had a '55 Chevy
with a solid lifter Duntov 30/30 & 4.11 gears and could put down some
smoke with my Goodyear Double Eagles! Now I have a GMC! Geeze, I used
to swear at these barges and tell the owners to "put 'em on flatcars
where they belong!"
We've gotta get together one of these days and drink some Grainbelts &
tell some lies!
