I have returned from 2 years in New Zealand and had left muGMC (73 23 ft) in the capable hands of my sons and grand children. They drove it rarely and now I have the task of getting her roadworthy. But we are going into winter so she’s up on blocks for a few months. However, sometime in the past year or so I she was broken into and some items stolen. One was the back=up camera screen, just ripped it out of the MAC dash. Is have to replace it. Any suggestions? I have a camera mounted above the back window and anther site view one on the passenger side..Both used to work well.
Also has anybody covered up the back window? Any negatives on this idea?

I covered ours up three years ago. On the 78 Royale rear bath I built. One of the things that Linda always wanted in the first 78 Royale. Was a large cloths hamper with sorting bins, and a linin closet. Now she has both. Put two walnut doors on both. To match all the original doors. Put a dark tint on the glass. Can't see a thing from the outside. The only thing that I lost. Was a worthless rear view mirror up front. As that's where I mounted my large backup camera screen. I can send photo's if interested. The two I got for the side cameras were made by Rayoo in China. Off eBay for about $10 each. A year or two ago.

Bob, some pics would be great. I too have found that buying electronic stuff directly from China to nee very successful. Some failures but not enough to make up for the tremendous price difference. Thought someone might have a “preferred” selection for a screen.
