Backing plates et al

Will the backing plates and calipers and other stuff, off of a 1982
Cadillac work for the conversion to discs on the rear? Any other advice
would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

Only the REAR backing plates from the 76-78 Cadillac El Dorado work. The GM
part number is 3516287.
