VR --> LA --> VR and a few stops and detours in-between and never opened the
hatch once.
Missed the ribbon ceremony again, Gene. Went by about 1AM with snow
collecting on the ground. CalTrans was all ready for chain checks on the
northbound side but they were still in their pickup as I went by
Slush and snow on the downgrade side but once I was back down a few hundred
feet it turned to rain. For once I calculated right as to latest time for
the up and over.
