The recent discussion on awnings and the door interference problem for the the
26 foot GMC reminds me of the problem those of us have with our 23 footers.
Because the entrance door is located at that front edge of the awning, water
can spill from the roof and gutter into the open doorway if the coach is
slanted towards the front. At least that is the way it was with original A&E
awning on my Transmode which I have now taken off the coach. The problem is
mainly due to the awning not extending far enough beyond the door (to the
front) to direct the water away from the door. Has any one found a awning that
extends to the front enough or otherwise is designed to the prevent this
annoying problem?
