My opinion is a significant problem with the FWD GMCMH is it lacks traction
in snow and off road. The locker locks the spider gears so both wheels get
full torque for more traction. I don't know the price for a bulk purchase
would bring it down and a special
design and production would cost more. Some more info is on the internet.
Try searching for ARB air lockers.
Don: Count me as definitely interested. I live in mountainous country and I
would like to feel comfortable on the road in the winter time. I have been
moving weight forward and cutting down on the weight in the back within the
coach in order to have help with the traction problem (or should I say lack
of traction problem). This would definitely be a significant "improvement"
in my books.
