I am guessing I am not going to find a replacement (flush) know assembly for my Thedford Aqua Magic III. This toilet works great but no luck with
finding a replacement knob, which has a fractured collar that fits over the shaft. So I am now pondering replacements. This thing fits on a Thedford
base. I am assuming that the toilet itself is bolted to a raised closet flange that lives INSIDE that raised base. Yes I can find all this out by
pulling the toilet and seeing what I have inside that base. I don't want to order a new toilet that might be too tall. I see Thedford sells the Aqua
Magic V in high and shorter versions. But I don't know that either will mate up with this base. Anyway, I am assuming that someone has lived thru
this. I know it is not much of a job but I don't want to pull the toilet without having the replacement at hand. If we chose the go camping, we can
still use this toilet with a pair of needle nose vise grips doing the job of that flush control knob. Thanks.
