GMCnetters,

Just wanted to take a breather and apologize for what I feel is
neglecting GMCnet. My momma always told me to be careful what I ask
for, but the admonition apparently didn't take. For approximately three
years I've bent my bosses ear that my skills were being underutilized -
the newly created Admin position they'd stuck me into never matured into
anything resembling a challenge. Finally, about two months back they
moved me back into an underwriting position, but the promised account
load still didn't materialize.

Then, week before last, my company announced it was acquiring renewal
rights to a competitors product line - said competitor is exiting this
niche of the marketplace. They must have thought this was an
opportunity to quiet my grousing over being underworked and tossed me
into the transition team. Suddenly, I had eleven accounts scheduled for
Jan. 2000 renewal that I had never seen before and a week to get to know
them.

It's great being challenged again, but I hate that I'm not paying what I
consider to be proper attention to this forum. I haven't had a chance
to get to the bounces all week and at best I've only been able to scan
over the net traffic. Many of you have written off-net emails to me and
would probably appreciate a reply. Hopefully, in the next couple days
I'll have a chance to catch all that up.

Just wanted you to know that my interest in this forum isn't waning.
There just ain't much "free" time of late.

Regards,
Patrick

Patrick,
Work comes first before the fun. We all appreciate your efforts here. Ya
know, this is the mildest I've see the net as of late. ...and to be honest
my flying squirrel would fly maybe if you used him as a frizzbe! Poor guy,
nothing left vertical except a tail.

Its OK. We have been having fun. We have flying squirrels and fried
squirrels. Tom and I have not killed each other. You go take care
of your business and the kids will play. There is not even any smoke
here let alone fire. So we are doing OK.

Take Care
