I just stood at my lathe and made a new nut. I could not find one anywhere. I used it for a while and still have it, but I made another nut and laid
a piece of SS welding rod just over the roof to the A/C housing. The thought being to change back to the OE when needed, and I just haven't needed.
We get music and traffic from the web or the GPS.

What is CH?
Be cautious of mounting a low frequency antenna on the mirror brackets as they have not real counterpoise to offer. My cell antenna does OK there,
but WL is in cM and the ground plane is part of the antenna assembly.

"CH" is probably mistype for "CB." Otherwise, known as children's band.
You can very adequately mount a VHF/UHF antenna on your OEM mirror mount. Select an antenna that does not require a ground plane or counterpoise. I
operated this method for many miles and years. MFJ and others have this antenna configuration available.

CB, or 27 MHz is a whole other problem set. The length of a quarter wave antenna precludes a mirror mount for a good effective antenna.
Check your local truck stop for different solutions. Actually ask some long haul truckers about their different antennas. Do not get hung up on the
big chromed coils. In antennas, appearance is not everything. P.S. Dual antennas without proper phasing do not help.

Recommend going to your local library and see if they have ARRL antenna handbook. It may have a solution that you can live with.

The best solution for a CB antenna is a 10-9" steel whip. It can be mounted on the back bumper, with a tie to the top of the ladder. Everything else
is loaded one way or another to mimic this whip. Almost as good is a center loaded 18" CB stealth antenna mounted amidships on the roof, if you can
find one. The aluminum roof will form its ground plane and it will be pretty much non-directional.
