The antenna you have looks fine. As Larry said, you just need to be careful
when you park so you have an unobstructed view of the southwestern sky for
the DSS to work.
The all-in-one feature looks convenient enough, but the satellite part means
that you have a fixed position relative to the broadcast antenna. Keep in
mind that you often have to turn a broadcast antenna to get the best
picture, so you'll need to pick between satellite and off-air, or
compromise.
There wasn't anything like this when I put my Rube Goldberg rig together. I
went with a homemade but handy outfit. It looks like you found a much
simpler solution. Your proposed installation location would seem to be fine,
the assembly would need to lay back when stored. This area provides that
kind of unobstructed room.
Just FWIW (perhaps of interest to others,) the broadcast antenna I have is
at http://starkelectronic.com/5ms750.htm I got it from an RV surplus place
close to Shipshewana, IN for $25. Looks like they got more expensive.
